On the conference tip

On the conference tip: some goodies coming up next spring. First the second O'Reilly Emerging Technology Conference will be held April 22-25, 2003 in Santa Clara, CA. This promises to be a forward-thinking gathering of some of the smartest, exciting, and most interesting people doing technology-related work today. I know that sounds like some excessive praise, but honestly the two O'Reilly conferences I've been to have been the two best conferences I've ever attended. I'm not saying this because they invested in a company I founded or because I write for them, I'm saying it because it's true. Do whatever you can to attend this one, I expect great things.

Also looking good is the Gel Conference (Good Experience Live) scheduled for May 2, 2003 at the New York Historical Society in New York City. Participants will gather for one day to, "[e]xplore what it means to create, and to be a part of, a good experience." Gel's offering a sweet referral program. If you register, would you be so kind as to enter my name in the referral field on the registration form? I'd really appreciate it.
