Jason Kottke and Meg Hourihan are pleased to announce the arrival of Bodhi Hourihan, a nine-year-old domestic short haired neutered male tabby. Both mother and kitty are resting well after an uneventful trans-continental red-eye flight which arrived at New York's JFK airport at 6:45 AM this morning. Bodhi is adjusting to new surroundings and did not realize Meg's worst fears (such as peeing and pooping in the cabin, escaping from cat carrier and running around airplane [perhaps to pee and poop further], clawing Meg's face and breaking free from her arms as she walked him through the X-ray at SFO, etc.). Meowing was minimal. Smells were non-existent. Bodhi now enjoys sitting beneath the claw-foot bathtub in his new home and purring.
