Goodbye PointCast. I remember the day this service came out, I got a phone call from a friend of the director of PR, excitedly telling me where to go to download it. And boom, next thing I knew, I was installing it on everyone's desktop at work, and people from other departments were coming in, asking, "Hey, what's that? Can you help me get it too?" It didn't last too long in our office, but man, it sure was cool while it was there. It doesn't seem like as much stuff happens on the web these days that makes me go, "wow oh wow, how do I get that?" These days it's more like, "no oh no, why did they do that?"
